Silvan versus Mt Evelyn…

April 18th, 2009 | 1 Comment | Posted in football, sport

With the start of the Yarra Valley League division one starting today. Last years premiers Silvan were playing today against Mt Evelyn on home ground. I got there early to get images of the unveiling of the flag. Silvan had three club veterans Greg Shaw, Jeoff Key and Harold Tarin to unviel the flag. Pity the wind was not howling as the flag layed very dormant without a breeze. In the first half of the game Mt Evelyn lead by 28 points. In the third quarter Silvan rallied and kept gaining ground in the forth quarter won by six points. Silvan has not changed much of its team roster from last season.

Here are some images from the game.
