Nunawading Spectres versus Ballarat Miners…
The first game in the season for the Nunawading Spectres men against the Ballarat Miners. With the first game being a home, the Spectres reformed themselves from last season. The Spectres held the lead till the forth quarter when the Ballarat Miners took the lead and held it to the end. Ballarat Miner import Jamal Brown was the highest scoring player in the game of 32 points. High scorers for Nunawading Spectres were Shane MacDonald with 20 points and new import Brad Bridgewater with 21 points.
The Spectres were tipped to win, but again like last year, They need to follow throu into the fourth quarter. This is were the other teams are able to continue on, and overtake the team.
